What are we all about
We are a team of passionate students working side-by-side with our partners to deliver social, sustainable solutions.
In 2008 a new SIFE-team started at Tilburg University, since 2012 SIFE became Enactus Tilburg University. The Enactus team in Tilburg is always been a diverse team. with students from all over the world and with various study backgrounds. This led to some great projects both in the Netherlands as abroad in countries like Afghanistan, Curaçao and Kenya.
Together we pledge to take action. Together we commit to apply our passions and talents and ideas to impact as many livesas we can. Not to hand out help to people in need, but to work side-by- side with them to create opportunity. So every person and community we touch is empowered to live up to their fullest potential.
Creating sustainable entrepreneurial projects that have a positive effect on both individuals and society.
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. It is this mindset that is in all our projects. We strive to create entrepreneurial projects that seek to impactthe community and empower its members – so they will not only eat for a lifetime – but will no longer be dependent on others to teach them how to fish.
Our projects and the members who make them happen are the core of our organization! Besides them, the board makes sure everything runs smoothly with some assistance of our valued advisors.

Enactus Tilburg Members
Enactus Utrecht is the student organization for social and sustainable entrepreneurship in Tilburg and is managed part-time by six students. Our members see challenges in social problems and use entrepreneurship to tackle them, so that a better and sustainable world is made possible. Enactus is therefore working on the Sustainable Development Goals. The members are supported by the board, Tilburg University and the business community. Enactus Tilburg is part of an international network with over 1700 teams and 4200 companies spread over 36 countries.
Enactus Tilburg attaches great importance to the personal and professional development of its members. That is why it organizes various events, workshops and training programs throughout the year. Finally, Enactus forms a close (alumni) network, where friends are made.
What do our members do?
Enactus Tilburg currently has around 20 members. They spend 8-10 hours per week voluntarily on Enactus and are a member for at least a year. Enactus students are committed to a social enterprise that has been running for a while time or establish their own new company. The project teams work completely independently, but receive guidance from the board, alumni and partners from the business community. This gives students the opportunity to develop within entrepreneurship and to learn new practical skills within their job.
